Summary:
Two apartments in one renovated duplex, three blocks from Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah. Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms (2 king beds and 2 queen beds) with 2 bathrooms.
Book the whole building and bring the group. Each apartment has its own entrance, kitchen, living room, bathroom, and washer and dryer. The downstairs apartment is at ground level. The upstairs apartment is up 20 steps.
What to know first: two assigned parking spots behind the building and free street parking out front. No pets. Self check-in. Minimum age to rent is 21.
The Space:
The building is a two story duplex with two apartments. You get both. Door A on the left opens to the downstairs apartment. Door B on the right opens to the upstairs apartment. Both doors are reached by three short steps up to the front or back porch, and the upstairs apartment is 20 more steps up.
Each apartment has a living room with a sofa, two black wicker chairs, a coffee table and a TV. The kitchen has white cabinets, a stainless steel refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, an electric stove and oven, a toaster, a Keurig coffee maker with coffee, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, wine glasses and a baking sheet. A round table seats the group for meals. A stacked washer and dryer sits in the living area of each apartment.
Bedrooms: the building has 4 bedrooms, two with king beds and two with queen beds. The bedrooms have navy curtains and room darkening shades, and some have a decorative fireplace with exposed brick. Each apartment has one full bathroom with a tiled shower, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and shower gel.
Comfort: central air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, wifi, an iron, hair dryer, bed linens, towels, and extra pillows and blankets.

Guest Access:
You have the whole building: both apartments, the upstairs and downstairs porches, two assigned parking spots behind the building (either apartment may use both) and the free street parking in front.
Check in is 4:00 PM and check out is 10:00 AM. Self check-in with a smart lock. Your door code and the check-in guide are sent through the guest app. We cannot store luggage before check in or after check out.
The two apartments share a building, so please keep noise down and observe quiet hours from 8 PM to 8 AM. Events need to be cleared and coordinated with us first. Exterior security cameras cover the front door and the back of the property.
The Neighborhood:
Forsyth Park is three blocks away: turn right at the sidewalk, walk three blocks and you reach the fountain. The duplex sits in the middle of downtown Savannah, so cafes, bars, restaurants and groceries are a short walk.
Walk north along Whitaker Street through the squares to find local shops, coffee and quick bites. For a Southern meal, Mrs. Wilkes Boarding Room is close, and 700 Drayton or Crystal Beer Parlor are a short walk. River Street and City Market are about a 20 minute walk.
Getting Around:
Walking is the best way to see downtown. Uber and taxis are quick and inexpensive. The free DOT trolley stops about a block away and runs about every fifteen minutes to the Historic District.
Parking: two cars fit in the assigned spots behind the building, shared by either apartment, and there are several free street spots in front. Check the posted street sweeping signs and move your car on sweeping days to avoid a ticket.
Other Things to Note:
Stairs: three short steps lead up to the porch, and the upstairs apartment is 20 steps up. Plan for this if anyone in your group has trouble with stairs.
Insects: we spray quarterly, but you may see palmetto bugs, wasps and other insects. Keep windows and doors shut, keep food in the dining area and keep trash in the trash can.
Minimum age to rent is 21. Please take off your shoes inside. The home is pet free. Service animals follow ADA rules. Smoking is allowed outside only, in designated spots.

Loved location and easy parking. Duplex was very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were nice sized and included ceiling fans. Hosts were very easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.
