Town: Nestled in a quiet corner of Nottinghamshire, by the Yorkshire border, is the civil parish of Misterton, found just north east of Bassetlaw with the River Trent flowing peacefully to the east. The village boasts a Grade I listed building parish church, a library, a fire station, as well as a convenience store, a pub, a pizza shop, and a Chinese takeaway. The picturesque River Idle, leading to The Chesterfield Canal, is adjacent to The Pump House Forge for walks straight from your front door. Enjoy the abundance of great British wildlife including kingfishers, buzzards, owls, heron, woodpecker, moorhen and numerous birds! Visit the nearby town of Gainsborough, brewing with medieval history with its old churches, grand halls, and glorious bath spa.
