About this house rental
On the nearly 6,000-square-meter fenced-in property, everyone will find a spot to unwind. Nestled among palm, fig, and lemon trees, the house is ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol yet just a few minutes from everything (about 8 km to the coast).
Built in 2006, the house features a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The living and dining room is very cozy, with high ceilings, exposed beams, and a fireplace. There is air conditioning in the living and dining room. The terrace and outdoor seating areas provide the perfect setting for a relaxing stay and a retreat into nature.
The 27 m² swimming pool (unheated—closed from November through the end of April) with a magnificent view invites you to cool off or enjoy some exercise. A barbecue is available outside.
Nature and Surroundings
Our dream becomes your dream, in the heart of the Axarquía, the wild heart of Andalusia, with a breathtaking view of the nearby Maroma Mountains (2,066 m above sea level). Access by car is via a steep paved side road (1,400 m paved, 300 m gravel road) and is easily reachable by car. In our opinion, a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not necessary. The house is an excellent starting point for hikers, nature lovers, and people who love nature and tranquility but don’t want to completely miss out on life on the Costa del Sol. Long pebble and sandy beaches offer everything you need for a relaxing vacation; chiringuitos, bars, and cafés are very close by (Algarrobo Costa, Torre del Mar, and Torrox Costa). Málaga (the capital of Andalusia) is about 35 minutes away by car, Nerja and the Nerja Caves are 30 minutes away, and Granada is 1 hour and 20 minutes away. Marbella and the Caminito del Rey are 1 hour and 30 minutes away.
The nearest airports accessible from Germany are Málaga (about 45 minutes) and Seville (about 2 hours)
