Chapel Heights in Durham

This was a great experience, I am finishing my second masters and this was a great place to be while working at University of Durham. If I had known it was so nice, I would’ve booked a longer stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I set off the fire alarm using the toaster and they were very patient with me. It was a little warm the only thing that could be a benefit is a fan.

Great affordable student accommodation. The space was exactly as advertised. The kitchen worked well, and i was able to prepare my own meals. Excellent wifi and plenty of outlets in the space. One of the best accommodations I've stayed in, and far better than even my own university housing.

Communication with staff was not great prior to check in but once on site they were great. Fire alarms are pretty sensitive and went off twice during my stay but staff responded quickly to those. It is obvious that this accommodation is intended for students with a longer stay than just a week. Towels were provided and crockery but no cutlery at all, luckily I had a travel set with me so I was okay but some may find that an issue. Over all it worked great for me and it is a short walk into Durham whichI loved. I'd book again.
