Mermaid is our two bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage enjoying views across the estuary and sea to the West Cornwall golf course and also to St. Ives from the communal seating area.

The communal seating area, with stunning sea views over St Ives Bay to St Ives Cornwall, is for your pleasure and is just to the side of The Penellen Bed and Breakfast.

Mermaid is available for dog friendly holidays in Cornwall. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs throughout the year and we are close to dog friendly beaches. Outside, Mermaid has a decked terrace area with seating.

For stunning sea views then the communal seating area is just 10 metres away from Mermaid which overlooks the sea and beach of St Ives Bay.

From there you also enjoy access to the coast path leading to the beach.

There is reserved parking for two cars with seasonal local pubs and shops close by, the beach is just 100 yards away.

Mermaid has electric heating. All heating, electric, bed linen, towels, parking and wifi are included in the rental price - no hidden extras.

Open Plan Kitchen/Diner

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in a separate utility room. There is a small breakfast bar in the kitchen area.

Dining Area

The dining area is furnished with table and chairs, a sideboard and a hifi system. The dining area leads through French doors into the spacious lounge.

Lounge

The lounge has two 2-seater sofas plus an armchair, flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There are numerous artists pictures throughout.

Bedroom 1

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. A flat screen TV is also provided with Freeview. There are numerous artists pictures throughout.

This bedroom has an en-suite consisting of a shower, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and a shaving point.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 is our twin bedded room with two single beds, a double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. A flat screen TV is also provided with Freeview. There are numerous artists pictures throughout.

This bedroom has an en-suite consisting of a shower, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and a shaving point.

A decked terrace area with seating is complemented by an additional communal seating area just 10 yards away.

From the communal area, there are stunning views of the sea and beach and access to the coast path which leads directly to the beach 100 yards away.

There is reserved parking for two cars.

Seasonal local pubs and shops are close by.
