Maison fonctionnelle avec un très bon rapport qualité‑prix pour la presqu’île. Propre, agréable, et pratique : le supermarché Leclerc est à 5 minutes à pied. Les hôtes sont accueillants. Tout se trouve à moins de 15 minutes en voiture. Je recommande.

Attention : prenez le temps de faire l’état des lieux d’entrée pour éviter les mauvaises surprises.

The property is very spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped. There are two bikes available for loan; plenty of outdoor seating; a fantastic table tennis table, on which we had hours of fun. Private and accessible parking makes loading and unloading easy. The beds are very comfortable. The showers are excellent. The kitchen has every piece of equipment that you could want. Everything has been beautifully chosen to ensure that people have a marvellous holiday, and it has been finished to a really high specification. The attention to detail makes it feel like a property you could very happily live in rather than just somewhere you’re staying on holiday (which can sometimes feel a little bit like camping, and to which you often have to take your own stuff, e.g. knives – this is not the case in this property!). It is clear that the owners are very proud of it and rightly so. It truly is a beautiful property and an absolute pleasure to stay there. The location is excellent, walking distance to a fantastic supermarket (where you can recycle your glass), a massive fishing tackle shop, and easily accessible cycle trails. If you want to go down to the beach, you can either take the bikes, or walk down the hill, which takes about half an hour. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

This was entirely my fault, but I hadn’t noticed the requirement for a cash deposit on arrival. Do check how much you’ll need and have the cash ready, so you don’t have to pay cash conversion charges in the cashpoint at the supermarket-assuming you’re like me, and only really travel with a card these days. The need for a deposit is completely understandable given the quality of the property, and, having left the property clean and tidy, there was absolutely no problem about it being returned in full. Therefore, the deposit itself wasn’t an issue, it was more that I hadn’t noticed it when I booked. The overall holiday did cost us slightly more than we would normally spend on a rental property, but there were only two of us and this is a large property – if there were more people, the value would be extraordinary and, even only as two of us, we would definitely stay there again to stay in such a beautiful home.

Wir hatten als 6-köpfige Familie hier einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Wir fanden das Haus sehr sauber vor und es ist zudem außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam und haben jedes Bad und Toilette mit gefüllten Seifenspendern und Toilettenpapier sowie Reinigungsmittel für die Toiletten und kleinen Hygieneeimern ausgestattet und die Küche mit Seifenspender, Spülmittel, Geschirrspültabs und Putzmitteln. Es werden Handtücher und Bettwäsche kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Es gibt sehr viel Geschirr und Küchenutensilien in allen möglichen Varianten, sogar ein Crêpe-Gerät, eine Fritteuse, ein Raqulette, einen Kontaktgrill, Kaffeemaschine, Kapselkaffemaschine, French press, Toaster und vieles mehr. Das Küchenzubehör ist wirklich sehr umfangreich. Es gibt einen Saugroboter, den man sagen lassen kann, wenn man nicht da ist, so bleibt es schön sauber im Haus. Im Garten befindet sich auf der Terasse eine gemütliche Gartensofakombination und einen Esstisch mit vielen Stühlen und Sitzpolstern und einem guten und großen Sonnenschirm. Es sind auch Liegestühle und ein Kugelwebergrill mit Grillbesteck vorhanden. Sogar Kohle und Grillanzünder waren schon vor Ort verfügbar. Zudem gibt es eine Tischtennisplatte mit Zubehör und Fahrräder. Die Schlafzimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten sind bequem. Die Doppel- Betten sind jeweils ca 140 breit. Die Matratzen sind gut. Die gesamte Einrichtung ist modern. Es ist auch eine Schlüsselbox vorhanden. Das ist sehr praktisch, wenn man zu mehreren Personen das Haus nutzt und den Schlüssel in der Schlüsselbox am Haus deponieren kann. Wir haben sie auch für die Abreise genutzt, da wir bereits sehr früh aufgebrochen sind. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen nett und bei Fragen oder Anliegen immer sofort erreichbar.

Très confortable, très bien équipé, très bon accueil ! Le gite est bien situé dans un quartier calme au centre de la Presqu'iles et de ses paysages fabuleux.
