The hotel was clean and modern, including the rooms, and at a fair price. Breakfast was simple but good, on the roof terrace, which is also a nice spot for drinks in the evening with a direct head-on view of the Hollywood sign. The location is good for exploring Hollywood. The hotel has a restaurant as well, which is convenient.
It would have been helpful for staff during check in and at the downstairs bar to make it clear that the rooftop terrace is open in the evenings for drinks - we had to find this out by chance. The rooms could be better lit, as the low lighting makes it difficult to see things sometimes. Not a fault of the hotel, but a general comment that Hollywood Boulevard is run down, so don't be surprised if it doesn't match prior expectations when traveling there for the first time.
