Traditional Moroccan Apt! Walk to Airport

We booked the apartment, cause our flight was very early in the morning and we wanted to be close to the airport. At the beginning I was hesitating to stay outside of the touristic areas, mainly because we had to walk in the night to the airport. After reading the excellent reviews, we felt secure to book this flat. The neighbourhood of the flat is a typical Moroccan neighbourhood. Upon arrival, kids were playing on the street and the owner was expecting us at the entrance, as he operates a bicycle store on the ground floor. The communication till then was perfect and very fast via the Booking chat. Soulaiman made us feel like home, welcoming us with Moroccan mint tea and some sweet delights. He booked a taxi for us (at the end we didn't walk, cause it was raining heavily) and was even there at 02:00 am to make sure that everything would run smoothly with the taxi pick up. For the taxi we paid 100 MAD (I guess because of the night tariff). There are aeveral super markets and small shops in the neighbourhood. The beds were very comfortable and the flat was very clean. The kindness and hospitality of Soulaiman will remain in our memories as the best closure of our vacation in a very safe and family-friendly country, like Morocco.

I need to point out that someone cannot expect European standards in terms of the bathroom or further facilities of the rooms. The apartment is very clean and renovated, so we were absolutely happy!

Abbiamo dormito qua prima di prendere il nostro volo. Posizione ottima se serve stare vicino all’aeroporto, si può arrivare a piedi. La casa è davvero spaziosa, in tipico stile marocchino. Lo staff gentilissimo ci ha servito il thè e ci ha fatto fare il check in prima dell orario stabilito

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement à Marrakech. L'emplacement est idéal, proche de tout. Le personnel s'est montré très disponible et chaleureux dès notre arrivée. L'appartement est propre, spacieux et bien équipé, ne manquant de rien pour un séjour confortable. Je recommande vivement, à 100% !

Après un long voyage fatiguant on a eu beaucoup de mal à joindre le hôte, alors qu’on l’a prévenu de l’heure de notre arrivée, celui-ci n’avait pas la 4g sur son téléphone donc pas de réseau quand il est à l’extérieur de l’appartement’ on a beaucoup attendu, on a commencé à voir pour faire une autre réservation tellement c’était lent l’attente en bas de l’appartement.
