An amazing deal on an excellent location! The apartment is spacious and comfortable and provided a lovely launching point for our weekend getaway. The bed was comfortable and everything in the kitchen worked well.
Some apartments with full kitchens have a few basics on hand, like salt and pepper and some sort of oil for cooking, so I was a little sad that I didn't know this one wouldn't. But that's ok. There's a grocery store nearby, we just had to run out an make a few extra purchases of things we didn't think to pack. The soundproofing isn't great, so we heard the TV playing in the apartment on the other side of the wall, but nothing unbearable.

The kitchen was decent and sufficiently equipped. The gas stove and nice coffee pot were plusses. The bed was comfortable and furnishings were okay.
The place needs a thorough deep cleaning, especially the bathroom and exterior entrance. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and unkept. I would not feel comfortable walking around the area as a single woman.

Honestly, I had such a rough day traveling from Dallas to Corning, but this lovely cabin totally healed me.
