Résidence Caire - Paris center

The building and apartment are renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The entrance to this beautiful building is well-lit from the outside and secured with an access code. It is super close to the metro and just a 7–8 minute walk to Rue Montorgueil, which is full of great cafes and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable, the AC and shower were fantastic, and there's a heated towel rack and a large smart TV. The kitchen was well equipped with tea, an electric kettle, and a coffee machine with capsules. Key pickup instructions were very clear, and Alex was very responsive and helpful, even late at night. Especially compared to typical Parisian standards, the size of the apartment was very spacious and comfortable for two people (as a mother and daughter, it was perfect for us)!

First and foremost, the apartment itself is truly stunning and highly recommended, so please take the following as purely my personal experience. It is also worth noting that the deposit was ultimately released without any issues. However, communicating solely through the Booking app felt quite inconvenient and detached. The overall price and the security deposit were very high. Because the deposit was so substantial, finding several maintenance issues upon arrival caused unnecessary stress—we felt compelled to document everything immediately so we wouldn’t be blamed. These included a bedroom door that didn’t close, damaged wood flooring in the bedroom, loose cabinetry around the washing machine (which also had leftover underwear inside), and no upper security deadbolt on the apartment entrance door. For such a premium rate, we expected flawless upkeep. The immediate neighborhood was unpleasant and noisy at night, especially with visible street solicitation right outside, which didn't feel comfortable or safe for our party. Lastly, while the space is ideal for a couple (or perhaps a couple with children), it simply lacks the clothing and luggage storage needed for 4 adults. Note also that there are 12 stairs to climb before reaching the elevator.

The communication was exceptional before and during the stay. The property is exceptional.

It would be nice if the bathroom had a tray in the shower to put your soap and shampoo and maybe a shelf above the toilet to hold toiletries and also a full length mirror .

We had such a fantastic stay and genuinely couldn’t fault the apartment. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Paris — really convenient for getting around, while still feeling like a lovely place to come back to after a busy day. We found it so easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The hosts were also amazing. Communication was excellent from start to finish, everything was really straightforward and we felt very well looked after. We were a group of four and the apartment was perfect for us. We honestly had the best time and would 100% stay here again on our next trip to Paris. Couldn’t recommend it enough — an easy 10/10! ❤️

Kitchen

You can clearly hear noises from upstairs and outside. The check-in time is very late at 18:00pm and check-out time at too early at 10am. The cleaners knocked my door literally at 10am for me to leave. The office wouldn’t let me check in earlier. Overall It was ok but definitely not worth the money. Would have stayed at a nice hotel at this price and get much better service.
