La Verdure - An Intimate Beachside Getaway

Location was key. You are steps from Balmoral Beach. You can swim in the Balmoral Bath, or the bay, catch fish off the wharf, walk the promenade, go for a jog or sit and watch the birds. The cockatoos approach and chat you up if sit long enough. Plenty of little cafes and good food along the beach way. The apartment has a nice layout with a comfortable bed. The dining and living area are sunny and bright. I hosted family for dinner and there was plenty of space to dine in. The balcony table and chairs has afternoon sun. Lots of closet and storage space. Left over supplies in the apartment such as masks and pet supplies. 15 min walking to the Taronga zoo and Mosman shopping. There is a washer and dryer for use in the complex.

No complaints.

The location is wonderful, so close to the beach and very nice eateries. There are views of the trees and parks are close by. Cooking facilities were very good, with enough crockery and cutlery, pots and pans. The air conditioner was very effective, the shower was great too. The bed perfect for a good night's sleep. There is minimum street noise, we stayed 7 nights and had 7 good sleeps. Wardrobe space was reasonable.

The stove exhaust hood did not work, and I had to open the window to let the steam out. I believe the hood should be replaced. The stove top took a very long time to cool down. The balcony area could have been cleaner. The bedroom blind mechanism needs a service, it is very stiff and noisy.
