Pesona 361 Alam Bungalows

Super aardig personeel dat je overal mee wilt helpen. We wilden graag scooters huren en die stonden al snel klaar om mee op pad te gaan. Ook werd er via berichten snel gereageerd als we vragen hadden. En is er een taxi voor ons geregeld naar ons volgende verblijf. Erg gastvrij dus! De locatie is ook prachtig, je kijkt uit over rijstvelden en het is net alsof je in een soort grote boomhut slaapt waar alles van hout/bamboo is.

De hygiëne is voor Indonesië standaarden prima, maar er is ruimte voor wat verbetering.De waterdruk van de douche neemt flink af als je hem warm wilt zetten dat is jammer, maar ook prima te overzien.

This is a fairly new place, clean, and in good shape. Surrounded by rice fields, it's really peaceful (except for the loud calls for prayer - but that's just normal in the area). The room is spacious, with a big bed and mosquito net; wardrobe and couch. We had the entire floor to ourselves with a huge terrace and amazing view. Bathroom was also clean, with hot water. The staff is very nice and attentive, always looked out for our needs. They even organized a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. The restaurant on site is exceptional, the food was the best we've had in over a month spent in Indonesia.

They made a mistake with the booking, and overbooked the place, and we were informed about this when we arrived. We had to spend the first two nights in a small room with just a mattress on the floor; no hot water, on the ground floor in a separate building right next to the restaurant. Although they offered food for these days as compensation, it was a bit uncomfortable that we had to negotiate for a discount for these nights. The staff - although super nice - was a bit intrusive for us; leaving us not much privacy (which is common in Indonesia, maybe we're just not used to it). Both in the temporary small room, and in the big room we had rats living in the roof, which you could hear chewing and running around all night long. (Pictures included of both rooms.)

The staff were very friendly and treated my daughter very well. The place was clean with nice views of the padi fields. The booking was for myself and the wife and our young daughter and we were supposed to share a queen bed but they prepared another double mattress for one of us to sleep on.

The location is away from any shops or places to eat. The staff prepared food for us on the one evening and for the other evening we picked up some street food on the way back from a trip to the waterfall.

Sans doute la plus belle maison qui m’a été donné de voir durant la totalité de mon voyage. Et avec ça, une famille plus que généreuse qui vous accueille comme si vous étiez chez vous. Mention spéciale à Robin, un homme solaire qui égayera vos journée et vous fera découvrir les alentours. Il a été compliqué pour moi de partir après avoir prolonger mon séjour à maintes reprises, mais ce n’est que partie remise. Pour ce qui est de la maison, dotée de trois étages elle est entièrement faite en un bois vernis, spatieuse et lumineuse avec une vue imprenable sur le mont Rinjani. On dirait que tout a été pensé pour que l’on passe le meilleur moment. Et ça fonctionne. Un grand merci à vous tous
