Apartment in Mount Eden- Two Bedroom with one carpark

The location is good. Had a parking spot - because street parking is difficult to find close by and must be paid for.

A very basic apartment in terms of both furnishings and supplies. False information given: the apartment is NOT 97m (is 65m) and there is NO garden view. Apartment looks onto the street and, if privacy from passersby is desired, opaque net curtains have to be kept closed at all times. The main bedroom is very inconvenient. On a funny angle, the wooden bed frame meets the wall and one has to climb over the corner of the bed to get in or out. Difficult for older people or in the dark at 3am. No bedside lamps - the lava lamp provided no usable light. The other side had no bedside table or lamp at all. No rack for a suitcase, and the room is too small to have a suitcase on the floor. Sheets did not smell freshly laundered. The towel sets were all mismatched, old and thin. I did find a soft towel in a drawer. There is no shampoo or conditioner. There is an all-in-one gel for body and hair. It didn't work for hair. The scent was ginseng - described as earthy and woody. Not how I like my hair or body to smell! The owner would not tell us the code to the lockbox before arrival. We had to find a park on the street - not easy in this area and is not free - and ring her. She even gave us the wrong code at first which caused some confusion - we couldn't understand why could we not open it!
