El Nido de Mijas

Location was brilliant . Staff helpful. Room adequate.

Im not sure how it compared in value to other hotels. I was traveling alone so its always expensive for a private room.

Bardzo dogodna lokalizacja, blisko plaży ale też cicha okolica jednocześnie. Spacerem od centrum La Cala de Mijas. Na terenie obiektu jest parking ale można też parkować wzdłuż ulicy bez problemów. 25 minut od lotniska.

It was very clean and tidy we had everything we needed

We couldn’t work the hob and tv but the owner is offer to come round but we didn’t bother cos we were in the apartment that long, wardrobe doors were a bit doggie

What a great last minute find! The host could not have been kinder and communication was excellent throughout. The apartment is compact and very well laid out. Super clean and comfortable (the large bed is very comfortable) and has everything you could need for your stay. It's a nice quiet neighbourhood, yet within easy reach of the town, supermarket and transport links. The apartment itself is easily located from a nearby bus stop. In fact I used the bus throughout my short stay. I took a train from directly outside the terminal at Malaga airport to Fuengirola (tap in and tap out with a card to avoid a queue at the ticket machine Euro 2.70), then walked around the corner and took the 220 bus to El Oasis stop. Turn right after the small supermercado and it's a five minute walk up the hill to the apartment block. Key box facility instructions were provided and easy to follow. There are plenty of foot bridges to take you across to the beaches. There is also a very large Mercadona supermarket within a 10 minute walk of the apartment and 5 minutes further on from that, the town of La Cala de Mijas itself. I had a lovely stay and would definitely book again if I was in the area.
