It was only 3km to Punta Secca which is the saving grace of the immediate area. If all you care about is relaxing on a gorgeous peaceful beach, and have a car to get out when you want to, you are fine.
The location. There is nothing around it but white washed block houses. It feels like one is dropped into a maze with no way out. You absolutely need a car to see anything but pristine quiet beach and a whitewashed concrete jungle.
