Gîte Familial en Valromey

We would like to share with you a beautiful region: green, mountainous, and wooded, with lakes and magnificent, authentic villages. Located south of the Jura Mountains at the foot of the Grand Colombier in the Valromey valley, there are numerous hiking and mountain biking trails nearby (Colombier Massif, Les Plans d'Hotonnes, Retord Plateau, and Lyand). Road cycling is also possible through small villages or on the ascent of the Grand Colombier (a stage of the Tour de France). You will appreciate the peace and quiet, the wide open spaces, and the proximity to popular tourist destinations: 1 hour from Annecy, Geneva, and Chambéry, and 1 hour 30 minutes from Chamonix. The gîte is situated at an altitude of 800 meters and is quite cool, especially at night. The gîte has been awarded a 4-star Tourist Accommodation rating by Atout France (the French Ministry of Tourism).
