About this cabin rental
Your family will enjoy this beautiful, peaceful log cabin set on 3 acres in the hills of Heber. Wake up to gorgeous sunrises at this quiet home, which is the only home on the street, walking distance from Clyde Lake. We are 35-40 minutes from both Sundance and Park City (skiing & shopping), 20 minutes from Soldier's Hollow (tubing and cross country skiing) and less than 30 minutes from Jordanelle and Deer Creek (swimming and boating). Don't want to drive to the slopes? Just play on our expansive property or sled at the nearby sledding hill. It's 12 minutes to downtown Heber with plenty of shopping and restaurants, or drive 5 minutes farther to the quaint town of Midway.
There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. The Master bedroom (King bed) has a large-screen TV and a loft. It opens up directly onto the large wrap-around deck. The second bedroom (Queen bed) opens up directly onto the deck at the front of the house.
The main floor also has a large kitchen, with a big island and a kitchen table that seats 12. In the living room, cozy up near the gas fireplace on the sectional (with 3 recliners) and watch the large-screen TV under the beautiful vaulted ceiling.
As you head upstairs there are 2 quaint nooks--1 is a reading nook and the other is a hangout/sleeping space for children/teens.
The upstairs open loft area has a futon, a game table, and 2 double beds, to add additional sleeping or just enjoy the amazing views with windows on three sides. The upstairs loft opens up onto a private balcony as well. Upstairs Bedroom 1 (Queen bed) has space for a pack-n-play (provided). Upstairs Bedroom 2 (Twin) has a bunk bed.
The finished basement has a large living space with an additional large-screen TV and a ping-pong table. There is a washer/dryer on the basement level as well. The basement opens into the garage.
We have hi-speed Wifi, and the 3 TVs are equipped with Apple TV, Roku, and an Amazon Fire Stick, so you can stream almost any entertainment.
Parking for 1 car in the garage is included, and there is driveway parking for an additional 4 vehicles. Please note: Oct-April: 4x4 or AWD is REQUIRED. The main road/entrance is plowed regularly, but side streets require 4-wheel-drive. The road to the cabin is maintained gravel.
Professional cleaning is required every 2 weeks. Mid-stay clean is $100/time.

We had soo much fun at this absolutely beautiful cabin. We celebrated Christmas with our children and grandchildren making lasting memories with all of them.First, the cabin was just amazing. It was clean, had soo many amenities and the Christmas tree and lights were very welcoming. There are so many nooks/small places that the grandchildren had a blast exploring and playing. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed and then some. Second, the host was very gracious. She was very communicative about everything before we got there, with great driving instructions. We were hoping for a white Christmas, but no indication of snow was in sight until the night before we left. That night it snowed and in the morning (the day we were to leave) it was still snowing. The grandchildren were so excited to go play in it. I asked the host if it would be possible for a later check out time to enjoy the newly fallen snow. She replied, "No rush to leave, take your time. Enjoy." It turned out to be a most magical day. We enjoyed the snow, ate some lunch and then were on our way. It was so kind of her to allow us to stay longer. It made the conclusion of our trip pretty perfect. I can't thank her enough for this. My family still talks about what amazing hospitality this was and loved the time spent in the cabin so much that we would like to come again sometime. Thank you again for everything.Everything in the cabin was wonderful and we had no problems with anything.
