Family vacation in a log cabin in the Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve.

This cozy vacation home is located in the car-free complex at the Lauterdörfle Vacation Park in Hayingen and is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation with the whole family. The living room, featuring a wood-burning fireplace, invites you to relax on the large couch. In the open, well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, you can plan the day’s activities over a delicious breakfast or enjoy a fun game night with the family. Two bedrooms each feature a double bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. The first bathroom is directly adjacent to Double Bedroom 1 and is accessed through it. The hallway leads to bedrooms 2 and 3, as well as to the second bathroom.


Outside, your children can play on the spacious property, while you relax in the sun on the covered patio, which features patio furniture and two lounge chairs, and wind down the day with a cold drink.

Two parking spaces per reservation are available at the edge of the property. You can use a handcart to transport your luggage from the parking lot to the house.

With two large playgrounds, a mini-golf course, outdoor chess, a soccer field, a playhouse with foosball and ping-pong tables, and a tennis court, you’re guaranteed never to get bored at the vacation park. At the three communal barbecue areas, you can prepare delicious meals for a fun evening of grilling.

The Swabian Alb region is ideal for hiking and biking in nature, as well as boating on the Lauter or Danube rivers. Visit the Friedrichshöhle/Wimsener Höhle, the biosphere reserve in Münsingen, the cave complexes in Sonnenbühl, or the Laufenmühle/Wolfstal in Lauterach. For a day trip, we recommend visiting the Marbach State Stud in Gomadingen, which offers tours and a variety of events.

The following shared facilities are available for a fee: washing machine, dryer, and sauna (towels not included as of November 2026). Firewood can be purchased on site for a fee.
