Un très bon hôtel très, très propre bien équipé et bien positionné au début ça fait un peu peur il est dans une petite rue il faut monter un ascenseur pour y accéder mais au final tu te rends compte que c'est très normal à chongqing ce genre de fonctionnement

During my stay the building was undergoing construction, but this was not communicated to the guests when booking. The construction was so bad to the point that you wouldn’t be able to use the lift (yes, there was a sole lift) cause it would be full with workers transporting barrels of concrete etc. There was once I had to climb the stairs , and there was no lighting at the stairs, it was full of dust and spotted some cockroaches. The construction made the whole hotel very dusty and I fell sick cause of it. There was also non-stop noise from 8am to 8pm due to the construction.
Aside from the construction, there were a few small flies everyday in my room - I suspect it may be from the drainage system but everytime I kill a few, a few pop up the next day. I booked the river view bathtub queen room and the views online are misleading, you are essentially facing a housing block opposite you who can easily be able to see you if your curtains are undrawn, making using the bathtub uncomfortable.
The hotel also fails to let you know that they are actually situated in the middle of a wholesale fabric distric, so the surroundings are not very clean and also rather chaotic.
Only positive thing is that the staff were nice and helpful.
Do yourself a favour and pay a bit more for a way better experience in chongqing. The hotel definitely ruined my experience.
