Savvys Place

I liked that the property was walking distance to the plaza, restaurant, market and points of interest. I traveled solo, but this would be a great option for two or more people. It had everything anyone would need for a lengthy stay. I especially loved having a full-size washer and dryer to do my laundry.

The shower needs attention; the tiles are painted over and there was some peeling paint. There was an issue with ants. They were teeny tiny, but they were there. There was ant spray and the bait in the bathroom needed replacing. I learned to rinse any food containers and not to leave food out. I didn't want ants to gather in the waste basket, so I put food items and containers in the fridge. I hope the cleaning staff didn't mind.

Very nice atmosphere. Close to downtown Ponce. Great walking and good restaurants near by. Great to have a washer and dryer

Ponce is a fascinating city, rich in tradition (especially dissent) & an architectural gem, even as it struggles against earthquakes, hurricanes, and a poorly managed economy. Savvy's Place is located at the edge of Ponce's magnificence, a short walk from the dynamic city square, Plaza Las Delicias, & proved to be an excellent base for wandering the city. The apartment itself is spacious, imaginatively remodeled, and furnished with two wonderfully comfortable beds. (It's also worth mentioning how valuable the laundry machine proved to be, halfway through our ten-day journey!) If you like staying in the mix of a lively and renowned city, Savvy's Place is a smart and affordable choice.

Minor detail: elaborating in the online instructions about where to park a car would make for an easier check-in. (There's a gated parking lot right beside the apartment!)
