Nyime Safari Lodge Campsite

Es un lugar increible. Precioso. La parcela para el coche es gigante

I had booked a campsite 6 month before arrival. These campsites are somewhat basic - as people write in the comment section. So, you have to want that. But since the weather was exceptionally cold this time and the new luxury tents had just become available, management allowed us to upgrade. Very lovely location at the river, elephants, buffalos and hippos at the front door. Lions in the moring. Restaurant available. Coffee and tea delivered to your door step. Loved the fact that the camp is not too far from the park entrance - less driving. For history fans: the camp and the National park are built on the ruins of an old army base. Weird to see Impalas or elephants venturing between the old buildings. Soon this place will be the hotspot in the area. Inside the national park and not as crowded as the lodges and camp opposite.

Réception avec très grande terrasse en avancée sur le lit de l'Okavango, vue extraordinaire, entourée de grande faune (éléphants, hippopotames, crocodiles, diverses antilopes, face au coucher de soleil: incroyable. Emplacements de camping bien séparés les uns des autres, juste au-dessus du lit de la rivière = juste au-dessus des hippopotames. Accueil très sympathique (allez d'abord voir les éléphants, on fera les papiers après). A l'intérieur du parc: directement en safari le matin. Pas de barrière: grande ambiance (rugissements de lions la nuit). J'aurais aimé rester plusieurs jours.

L'espace toilettes et douche est une sorte de container en tôle: pas très attirant au 1er abord; mais efficace, et bien cosy au final à l'intérieur.

Heel bijzondere plek aan de rivier. De faciliteiten (vd campsite) zijn basic, maar heel schoon en relatief nieuw. Goed restaurant met een prachtig uitzicht. Het national park eromheen is prachtig, met heel veel wilde dieren. Grote aanrader!

Niets, al moet je wel rekening houden met het feit dat er nergens hekken staan.
