Taxi often couldn't find location

The apartment was beautiful. Valérie, the host, takes great care to ensure a lovely place to stay. Valérie was also wonderful with keeping us informed and being available for any questions. The apartment was clean, the balcony beautifully furnished, the bathroom exceptional and the view remarkable.

I didn’t like that it’s advertised as an air conditioned apartment but you don’t find out until it’s too late to cancel for free that you cannot use the living room air conditioner because it’s “customary” to only use the bedroom air conditioner for sleeping. We could not access the living room air conditioner. I have breathing issues and it was difficult in the humidity not being able to use the air conditioner. I would not have booked a place without air. Also, it is at the top of a very high steep hill. We didn’t have a car. We were able to walk down but there was no way we could walk up the winding steep road. We needed to rent Taxis each time we went out to get back.
