Epic View Hot tub National forest

The property is absolutely amazing. It’s beautiful & clean with an epic view. Instructions to the property are very detailed and thorough. The property itself is not cluttered, it’s clean spacious and open. There are beautiful rock formations all around the cabin. The view is nothing short of spectacular. The deck off the master bedroom leading to the Jacuzzi is a great place to sit and have a drink or eat your dinner and then the hot tub with the TV is just absolutely wonderful. We turned it down just a couple of degrees so that we could watch an hour long show because there’s a TV built into the wall that you can just relax in the hot tub and watch a movie or anything else you want. Other than that, there’s everything you could need there. Chris is the property owner and he is an asset to the community. Ask him anything you want to know about the area. He’s an amazing host. He was so kind and helpful to us. His art is everywhere among the properties and that’s what sets them apart. He was the best Air Bb host we’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I’ll definitely stay at this property in the future and I may try to stay in his teepee as well. There is also an earth house near the cabin we rented and it is unreal. It’s like a fantasy novel come to life. Except you get to live in the story for a few days lol. If you or anyone you know loves renaissance fairs or Tolkien, send them pics of his earth house. It was booked by different people every night for 4 nights!

We did not dislike anything about the property. The only recommendation I’d give to future guests would be to understand that you’re driving up a mountain. So if you think you might want daylight on your first trip up that mountain, then get there promptly before the sun sets. After the initial drive up, the drive up and down became easy peasy lemon squeezeee for me. Most people wouldn’t find it hard. I get a little nervous my first time up a mountain road, so we made sure to do it with some daylight left and it was not a problem at all. The next morning when we drove down the exact same road, again it was no problem at all.

You come for the view and you’re glad you did. The lake Isabella area is very beautiful… great hiking, hot springs and views. And coming back to these wonderful views in the evenings just capped it all off

Het uitzicht! De host was ook erg aardig en het huisje is voorzien van alle faciliteiten. Heerlijk om in de hottub te zitten met uitzicht over het meer. Bed sliep goed, keuken was van alle benodigdheden voorzien. Top! Zelfs een sauna aanwezig (staat volgens mij niet eens in de beschrijving). Heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Had hier en daar iets schoner gemogen (bv. servies)

This is a truly unique property, not a luxury resort but a charming, upgraded house. Host Kris is very conscientious, providing every creature comfort in a spotlessly clean environment. Just be careful not to leave food out to avoid ants or critters. We plan to return and use the barbecue next time. The panoramic, spectacular views are breathtaking. Kris’s amazing personality shines through in this place. It’s approximately 30 minutes from Kernville and about an hour to the Sequoias.

Would like a bigger fridge, but we got by on the mini fridge.
