The WOW factor is the amazing view and access to Praia Dona beach and cliffs. The apartment is in a complex of big buildings, and this one is closest to the beach, and overlooks the pool and the beach below. The balcony is wonderful, but due to lots of sea birds, very dirty! There are no elevators and LOTS of stairs. The kitchen is very tiny, but the washer is a great perk. The bathroom is very nice, but the shower head did not work properly, needs repair. We had parking available in a garage in a different building, with a fob for access.
Due to allergies, we had requested "no scent" to be used on bedding, towels or in the apartment, but the perfume was very strong. We bought our own sheet and small pillow to use during our stay. The mattress was hard. There was a rug in the living area which was also very mildewed and smelled strongly of mold. Fortunately, we were able to roll it up and store it outside. The shower head did not work properly and needs repair.

Bellevue by the Sea has a beautiful location with amazing views away from the town of Lagos yet close enough to walk to and still enjoy. The apartment itself was clean with supplies available to keep it clean since we brought in some sand!
Typically always have a suggestion or two but not for Bellevue by the Sea. We loved it! We did have an issue getting out of the unit our first day because the lock was tricky but then realized we just weren’t used to the kind of locks. Worked fine. And when we used the air conditioning, it dripped outside the front door but then used a bowl to prevent a puddle. It then stopped happening so not a long term issue during our stay. My husband thought it may have been because the green watering bucket was nearly so so he emptied it??? Just an fyi
