It could have been cleaner when we arrived. The kitchen work tops had tea stains on them and the fridge was full of water and smelt badly of fish. I had to empty the water out and clean the ice box ( there was a black substance inside(?mould). I bought some bicarbonate of soda which dispelled the smell The shower could have been cleaner the shelving hadn’t been cleaned for several months Unfortunately the room smelt ‘musty’ and I think this was the old wardrobe which had a lot of blankets and other stuff stored inside When we found the BBQ it hadn’t been cleaned so we didn’t use it The outside recycling bin was overflowing so we just took our recycling to a depot Unfortunately the note with instructions etc was in French and my French didn’t stretch that far. I think most people who stay come from within France We had to look for any garden furniture and dust it down
