Hot water in the kitchen The hot water didn’t fill the bowl

Great location just a short walk from lots of places to eat, cinema, theatre, shops and the park by the river. The flat was newly refurbished with all new furniture, kitchen, flooring, paintwork. Very clean and tidy.

Immediately behind the door right next to the bed is a fitness studio with a 06:30 session, including pounding music and shouts from the instructor! We're early risers, but tough luck if you want to sleep in. The instructions say to park in Nelson Street, but you either need a resident's parking permit (we got a £35 parking fine for not having one) or you can only park there for up to 3 hours. You have to park several streets away and walk back. You have to go down very steep stairs to get to the bathroom. I held the (too short) bannister with both hands and went down sideways. The fridge stops buzzing if you take all the shelves out.

Everything you needed for a self catering stay. We had 7 nights Feb25. Really, lovely and comfortable in a fabulous location. High street with everything you needed is a 2min walk.

The fitness studio next door. The studio has an adjoining door separating the 2 rooms. So not a separate building to the Loft. Music / people could be heard throughout the day, the earliest being 6:30am!

Generally quiet but some noise and smells of burnt food via locked interconnecting doors. Good responsive heating and hot water.

There was no was washing up liquid or dish cloth inspite of good provision of kitchen for cooking meals. Some dishes were not clean There was a drain smell in the bathroom and the fan wasn’t working. The stairs are very steep and not suitable for the very young or elderly but not mentioned in the details.
