Location
Poor quality for similar money there are higher quality places

Very Noisey with “residents” which was not stated at time of booking. No breakfast.
It was quite scary to have residents banging on doors next to my room during the night.
My friend, who was a single female, didn’t sleep at all.
NOT ACCEPTABLE
The noise, no food, or contact with any staff

The location is literally a two minute walk from the beach which was amazing for us. There are also a number of places to eat and pubs two minutes in the other direction, we went to a great Korean restaurant on the same road as the hotel. Our room had a sea view, towels rolled on the bed, tea and coffee making facility, tv and fridge, it also came with bathroom miniatures which I didn't expect. We really didn't pay a lot for this hotel so I expected budget but I was surprised with how good it was for that price. Everything was clean, beds super comfy and staff were on the end of a phone when we needed them. My friend and I both said we'd stay again.
To check in you have to go to the sister hotel next door, which isn't an issue really as it says it on the door of the hotel but it would be nice to not especially as they do have a reception desk in the Crystal Beach. Everything was clean but there are many stains on the carpet, obviously not much they can do except change the carpet, the bath also looked stained and we didn't really want to use it. We had two rooms as we had to switch. Our first had a sea view but we accidentally plugged the fridge in instead of the TV and it blew the plug causing it to smoke. We moved next door as none of our plugs worked after that. They came as soon as we called though which was great. Our second room was actually bigger and with a better bathroom. Last thing is that there is out of date signage in the bedroom. On the door there is information about fire drill and facilities available, check out and breakfast etc but it is all for the hotel before so it's all out of date. That was a bit confusing.

First when we are arrived at hotel there is nobody and waiting outside half and hour. Nobody at recepition. No staff. Knock the main door here and there. And then I saw the emergency for phone number called one Indian lady said come over other hotel and take the key. According to hotel booking includ the private parking but they charge me £10 for 1 night. There is no staff, no wifi, no TV remove, lock the kitchen room and laundry . Room is very smelly and try to open the door but door is jam and fungal. Shower tape isn't enough to drop water. Single mattress is lousy and spring is almost come out.

It was close to the beach.
It was very dirty, had to keep my shoes on. It was creepy felt like people were stood behind my door all night. Staff were cleaning all through the night. Bin bags all over the corridors. Dirty washing all over the corridors. You had to go to a different hotel to check in. Dog barking all night. My double room was like a cupboard. Kettle was disgusting. Absolutely horrendous experience would never recommend. Felt like I was in a crack den.

Location that was about it
The accommodation was a joke the first room we were shown to the window was being held open with a trash can extremely outdated we were then moved to another room which was just as bad the bathroom floor looked like it was just on the rafters cracked and broken I would 100% avoid this hotel at all costs😡

Not much
When we arrived at the Crystal there was a sign on the door saying to check in the hotel next door,at the check in we were told the room we had booked had already been given away and that they were over booked and it’s a first come first served basis baring in mind we had booked the hotel weeks ago and had paid for one of the better rooms with sea view, then we were walked across the road to a completely different hotel to what I can only describe as a one star hostel at best the room had bunk beds , when we complained that this was nothing like the room that we had booked we were moved to another room in the (check in hotel) that did have a double bed but was even worse than the first one there was no duvet on the bed but a silk decrotive through that we were told was our duvet , there was what I can only guess are refugees Loitering about in the corridors sat on the stairs etc both hotels stank seemed untidy and very outdated there was damp mould no aircon no fans available and the windows barely opened one window was smashed and had been repaired with a wooden slab, the curtain didn’t cover the whole window and let the light in , there was an old fridge being used as a bed side table, tea coffee and sugar was provided but no milk , the toilet was leaking as there was a small puddle on the floor, and the shower or taps had no pressure.
Considering the room cost 140 quid and the pictures which were off the crystal that looked of a good standard and clean It was a major dissapointment, although the workers did try to change our room they also said about an apartment in the town centre , my partner was rather upset and there was a slight language barrier. We asked if we could just get a refund and they said no,
We rang around a few other hotels but all were fully booked,
We visited bmouth for a boxing event so thankfully didn’t have to spend much time in the room,

Didn’t even stay at the hotel booked. Was told on arrival after eventually finding someone after rude phone call that it was fully booked and was offered bunk beds when I booked a double bed room at hotel next door I refused. Had to walk down the road and round the corner to their other hotel Serenity beach and then the room itself was not clean the shower was broken and the hotel did not feel safe. The bed was rock hard and was so unpleasant we left and went back home. Was worst experience

Nothing it was so bad i rebooked a different hotel
On check in they tried to move me to a different hotel as it was overbooked. On insisting on staying in the room i booked i was checked into a room with 3 beds (not the double i booked. Hallways smelt of smoke

It was a good position
We booked into Crystal beach and looked at the photos. When we got there they own 4 hotels and we were put into one across the road called something else. The room was very dated and smelt of bleach. Damp patches on the walls in need of a great deal of TLC. We were also charged £10 to park when it was listed as having parking no fee mentioned in booking or on messaging hotel. We only stayed one night and just needed a bed to grab some sleep. But at 3 am the people upstairs (possibly living there ) decided otherwise !!!!

We didn’t even stay in this hotel. We rang the number on the front door as there was no one answering the door bell and it was an unknown number. I found a mobile number online and they said go to the hotel next door that’s attached to us . We paid for Delux room and we got a family room 3 beds.. there was burn marks on the carpet flooring on the toilet on the windowsills from cigarettes. The floor was so filthy you have to wear shoes inside!!! . The walls had brown drip marks down them like someone had thrown up and it not been cleaned. The bedding wasn’t real bedding it was a strange bed protector with some silky grey cover that had crusty patches on it so we slept in our clothing. Staff obviously lived in there as we could hear them sat on the stairs talking and laughing in the night and morning … strange what to say when someone is sat on stairs looking at your room door !! The windows were shut but the sound and air coming through was terrible. Black net curtains!.. strange touch! I honestly felt like I had walked into a crack drug squat being in that room..
Nothing!

The size of the room is quite spacious
There was a smell from the floor perhaps the old carpet. The toilet flush was stock can't flush when you use many times but my husband fix it. We are a couple and they gave a double bank bed, when I try the upper bank bed, the matress was not good, it's so soft and it hurts my back, old matress i can feel the spring from the matress. I moved down to the single bed which was much better and I sleep okay. The double matress where my husband sleep was okay. Also, when we checked out there was no clarity to where we leave the door key, no staff or reception open. We rang many times and no answer. I just found out that the mobile phone left at the reception and 4 customers were wondering what to do. It was a bit confused therefore I decided to leave the key at the reception.

Comfortable and clean but the night time security male person acted quite weird in his manner not very coherent for some reason acting very strangely!
As above just due to the night male security person acting in a strange and not in a coherent manner?

Not one thing!
When we arrived and tried checking in the hotel doors were closed and they had a big Indian party going on inside with a sign on the door saying “check in at another hotel just around the corner”. We then went to the other hotel and the owner then told us he’s putting us in a different “nicer” hotel. It ended up being a tiny little box of a room which was so hot. In a complete different location. The shower didn’t drain, it kept over flowing. The whole place smelt like curry. The batteries in the remote for the tv were completely melted. We were devastated. The room we booked said “one of the most spacious rooms in Bournemouth and we ended up getting out in a completely different hotel which should not even be allowed to operate. I want to do everything I can to get a full refund for this and to make sure they don’t scam other people like this.
