Riad TESS

A very authentic riad, breakfast was very good too and a lovely host.

Slightly far out and not much to do in the compound.

Le Riad est magnifique et le personnel très gentil et accueillant, exactement comme sur les photos. Le p’tit déjeuner est servi directement dans le salon du Riad c’est super.

Nous avons eu au moins 5 coupures de courant en 3 jours (des petites de 5 min mais le courant revenait seul) mais lorsque l’on est à la douche ou autre le soir c’est très embêtant mais je ne sais pas si c’est comme ça un peu partout ou dans get établissement mais rien de grave non plus ;)

Location, safe parking place for motorcycle in garage, great locals around for coffee, lunch,dinner…

Property that we stayed in, No’135 needs definitely proper cleaning, from top to bottom. Some descents pillows should be bought. Lack of toilet soap. Breakfast…well, you better don’t offer if you serve it like you serve to us, very poor…

The host kindly let us drop our bags before we were due to check in and gave us a key. The riad is beautifully decorated with typical Moroccan decor and the beds were all comfortable. The swimming pool, within the secure housing compound was very nice and we were able to buy cleaning products and food at the shop within the compound. We also ate at the restaurant and had coffee there which was handy. Free use of the washing machine was also good.

The kitchen and roof terrace were quite dirty when we arrived and there was no hand soap or washing up soap in the property. I asked for washing up liquid and it was eventually provided. I had to ask the host for the washing up liquid and to fix the lights so I didn't want to raise even more issues at the time by asking about hand soap as it didn't seem like a priority. We had also chosen the accomodation because it had breakfast included, which is usually quite exciting on holiday, but I would advise other guests not to base their choice on breakfast. The breakfast was bread and jam, orange juice and coffee. We were reluctantly offered an omelette on our 2nd day, and provided some triangle cheese on the 3rd day but to be honest it wasn't worth having someone coming and going in the house just to do that, I'd rather get it myself and clean up afterwards.
