Medalio Boutique Gangtok with Mountain View

Its worth visiting. Decor of room and Hotel was too good. Its a new hotel. Facilites/food / staff behavior / view from room / size of the room/ cleanliness- "Excellent". Back with beautiful memories.

Nothing specific. All average.

Breakfast had only veg options and very limited options. No breakfast option for kids, not even chocos.

The breakfast was crowded and the range of items weren't upto the mark

The mountain facing rooms provide a spectacular view. Good ambience overall. Mostly friendly staff. The elderly gentleman at the counter was lovely; would take time out to suggest sight-seeing spots and give us practical tips regarding the town.

Breakfast buffet was included in our stay. However, it was effectively à la carte, as the buffet was not prepared on any of the days we stayed there, as I recall. The one particular staff who served us needs intense training in how to deal with guests. She seemed to have great difficulty in serving us items we asked for, demanding to know in advance how many parathas we would be eating etc., saying she needed to communicate this to the kitchen beforehand. If we then asked later for one or two more parathas (or another such), she would have a sullen and glum look and appear overtly unhappy with us. Our breakfasts were a most awkward experience and I stopped asking this staff for anything at all, if I could help it. Some of the other staff, in particular, a new male staff, were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
