Tidewater Beach Resort by Panhandle Getaways

The location is walking distance from the pier and shops. The food at the onsite restaurant ( especially breakfast) was excellent. Staff is helpful and kind. The garage has easy access.

It is a large building with 30 floors. Elevators can get crowded and you may have to wait longer than anticipated. There are two large pools on the property that are awesome but they also can get very crowded as well.

This is a good location, right on the beach. This apartment overlooks one of the pools, which is good for supervising older kids without having to be down at the pool itself. There is a restaurant in the resort. The apartment has some beach supplies: a couple of beach chairs, a small umbrella and a few toys.

The apartment is cramped in places. The bedroom is super cramped because the bed is too big for the room. The bathroom is cramped because it has two doors. There are not 2 bathrooms, there is 1 bathroom with 2 doors going into it: 1 from the hall and 1 from the bedroom. The cleanliness could have been better. When we arrived, there was a used bar of soap in the shower. There were sheets balled up in the closet of the bedroom. The whole apartment smells like raw shrimp when you first walk in. It isn’t overpowering and you don’t notice the smell after a couple of minutes so it was tolerable. The shower and appliances could use an upgrade.
