Whistler Lakeside Hideaway

Location was excellent.

Rather than simply being sent arrival details (relevant key codes) on day of check-in, I felt the check-in process was over complicated by having to "Verify me" and provide further details before receiving property key codes; this relied on my having good mobile coverage as I travelled from Clearwater to Whistler.

We konden voor de deur parkeren en er was een zwembad met een heerlijke jacuzzi. De verhuurder reageerde snel op mijn bericht. Accomodatie was oké voor 2 nachten.

Het was absoluut niet schoon in de keuken en badkamer. Erg veel overbodige kastjes. Geen balkon en de tweede slaapkamer had geen raam. Voelde me erg opgesloten.

Le cadre est très agréable, les appartements sont très jolis et il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Gros coup de coeur pour la piscine et le jacuzzi.

Mal insonorisé,on entendait les voisins du dessus marcher...

The location of the accommodation was very convenient, check-in went smoothly, and the parking facilities were very practical.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment left quite a bit to be desired. After a few days, we noticed how dirty and dusty it was underneath the beds. Some of the kitchen utensils, especially the oven trays, were also very greasy and dirty, which was disappointing. Overall, we found that the sliding door arrangement doesn't offer enough privacy for several adults sharing the apartment. We would therefore recommend it mainly for couples with children. The apartment was also quite dark, and we missed the advertised mountain view. Instead, the windows overlooked a parking lot. This was a shame, as it's clear that some thought and effort went into the interior design. However, there is still quite a bit of room for improvement. Overall, we felt that the apartment looked better in the listing photos than it did in person, although this is, of course, just our subjective impression.
