I stayed here during the sacred Mahakumbh. I was their first guest. They have both western and Indian toilets. The beddings are very clean and comfortable and of great quality. They even arranged hot water bath for me and a tea kettle which was very kind of them. They stayed up late to receive me. as it is basically a dormitory, so you need to arrange with the hosts if you will be coming late in the evening. The hosts live nearby and are constantly available on the phone for any of help. There is a lovely bakery nearby for breakfast and tea as there is no kitchen facility. The area is quite central and you can reach Shastri bridge easily There is no direct public transportation but you can get a Uber if you remember the nearby landmarks. There is also a park nearby for walks. It's a safe area. It's about 5 kms from the main Sangam area. It's better to come here from the railway station first time if you're new to the place and cannot speak the local language. But the hosts can be reached anytime to communicate with the driver. The only issue is at night it gets unusually quiet and the main room is on the top floor and we were two girls all by ourselves in the three storey building at night which felt sometimes scary as if we were abandoned. it would really help if they provided a table and a chair as well Incase there are older people who cannot sit on the floor the whole time. There is a maid who comes to clean everyday. There is a CCTV in the shared dormitory area so there is absolutely no privacy if you are a woman. We stayed in a private room and were given keys to our room. The hosts can arrange a private entrance and exit to the main building but it's complicated and you will have to communicate regularly to update them about your movements so they can arrange for you to return to enter the building.
