Sky suite

The flat was in a great area, close to the Isola and Gioia metro stations. The amenities were basic but sufficient. The accommodation was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the sofa bed was also comfortable to sleep on. Communication with the host was excellent. She was very responsive, friendly, and always willing to help. The apartment was equipped with air conditioning, although it took several hours on the first day to cool the place down to a comfortable temperature. Overall, the AC worked quite slowly, and we never managed to cool the apartment down to our desired temperature. Fortunately, it wasn't as hot for part of our stay, so it wasn't too much of an issue. I will mention a few small negatives below, but I consider them to be minor issues. I am mainly mentioning them as constructive feedback that could help make the stay even better for future guests.

The bathroom was quite hot and humid, and unfortunately, the air conditioning did not make much of a difference. As a result, after two days, our towels had developed quite an unpleasant smell, and there were no fresh towels available. We also did not have enough time to wash them ourselves. After the first day, the hand soap ran out, and there was no shower gel at all, even though it was listed as being provided. We bought some ourselves the following day, so this was not a major issue, but we had expected these items to be available in the apartment as advertised and therefore did not bring our own. We would also have appreciated having an electric kettle and a coffee maker (caffettiera). Ground coffee was provided, but there was no suitable way to prepare it. The dish sponge was also dirty. Providing guests with a clean one would be a very small and inexpensive improvement. Overall, these are all minor points that did not have a major impact on our satisfaction with the stay. However, I wanted to mention them as constructive feedback. I believe that addressing these small details would be very inexpensive for the host, while making the stay noticeably more comfortable and bringing it much closer to perfect. For us, these were small things, that might improve the comfort of next visitors.

It’s close to the train station 15 min by foot. It’s really modern and clean.

Sometimes the air conditioner overheated and doesnt work for an hour, but after the short break it continues to cool perfectly.

Nice location 5-7 min walk to both metro station on two different lines. 10 min walking distance to Milano centrale. Very comfortable bed with big windows in the bedroom. Central AC unit. Clean tidy apartment perfect for a couple stay even for more time.

Convenient location and nice basic interior design. Overall, initial communication should have been much warmer, and clearer instructions would greatly improve the guest experience. The host did check in later, though it may have just been out of concern for their rating. I trust they can improve, and I am giving a rather generous, fair rating (5/10), although it was not fair that we could not use the apartment for several hours per day due to the extreme heat, making the overall experience disappointing

Uncomfortably High Heat: Upon arrival, the AC was off, and the apartment reached 37°C, forcing us to leave for several hours until it cooled down to 29°C. The bathroom also lacked AC and window shades, making it extremely warm. A partial refund would feel appropriate given the limited usability. Complex Check-in & Tax Process: Requesting tourist tax through an unfamiliar third-party app felt unusual for a standard platform listing. Additionally, the entry instructions did not quite match the actual steps, and there were no directions for opening the external doors from the inside.
