Mikoko Villa - Zanzibar

Our family (2 adults and 3 children) spent an unforgettable two weeks at Mikoko Villa, and this stay exceeded all our expectations! The villa is a true paradise for those who value comfort, natural beauty, and privacy. The spacious two-story residence with its private grounds, large tropical garden, and two infinity pools creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The bedrooms each have private entrances, the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking ocean views, and the interior design blends tropical modernism with authentic Swahili character. The staff deserves special praise: the private chef spoiled us with incredible meals, the villa manager was always available to assist, and the daily housekeeping allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy our time. Additional services like home massages, sailing trips, and even private kite surfing lessons made our holiday truly special and varied. The location is perfect for those who appreciate peace and quiet, away from tourist crowds, but with easy access to Jambiani (only 4 km away) whenever we wanted to explore — taxis were always available. We highly recommend Mikoko Villa to anyone looking for the true Zanzibar experience with top-level comfort and service. We will definitely be back!

We have a fabulous stay at Mikoko Villa. Stunning decor and beautifully designed and built. Fine attention to detail! Location is perfect for quiet time but easy to get to busier places. We loved staying in Mikoko Villa. I really worked for us. The manager Rajab organised all our activities including a private session with a boxing instructor, and was always available when we needed anything. Chef Ahmed is a star and his cooking really made a difference to our stay. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Mikoko Villa. The house is beautiful, very stylish, incredible views of the ocean. Housekeeping was impeccable and the food of chef Ahmed delicious. The local team was so friendly, we followed their recommendations to explore the island (Stone Town, Makunduchi, Kizimkazi, very authentic villages). Mikoko fells like a real home, the difference between "tourism” and real "travel”. We are already planning to come back next year for a much longer period with all the family.
