Beautiful view of Kigali and serene environment

The hotel's location was perfect for me. It was centrally located on a small, quiet side street in one of Kigali's busiest areas. It was close to the airport, yet far enough away not to be disturbed by aircraft noise. Thanks to the motorcycle taxis, you could get almost anywhere in no more than 15 minutes. My room was excellent, and the bed was especially comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the very friendly staff cleaned and made up the room every day. I also really enjoyed the outdoor area, where I had breakfast every morning. There was also an on-site restaurant that served dinner. I didn't get a chance to try it because I was out every evening, but it seemed to be quite popular, especially on weekends.

The only area that could use some improvement was the bathroom. It was pretty much what you'd expect at this price point in many parts of Africa. It was clean, of course, but the water pressure wasn't quite what I'm used to back home in Germany. On the plus side, there was always plenty of hot water, and once I got used to it, everything worked just fine.
