1 Mi to Coast: Myrtle Beach Condo w/ Balconies!

It was nice being close to the beach. The unit had a good view. The host extended check out by 2 hrs.

The unit was not clean and even after sending pics of trash & hair on the floors/walls, dead bugs and food left in the toaster oven, the host didn't seem to care much. The host was very nonchalant and periodically responsive with no follow up about anything. The host only said, "sorry about that" and that the bug probably got in there after cleaning and no one had been there all week. Then why so dirty? The host did not address some of the concerns we had and we couldn't even get a roll of paper towels delivered, which should have been there upon arrival. I was told where the paper towels would have been left. I informed the host again, that there were none and again, no response. For the amount of money paid, we should have at least been offered a full or partial refund on the cleaning fee. One of the tv remotes didn't work properly, no response. Since I didn't respond immediately to the offer to have someone clean the next day, there was no follow up. I didn't respond initially (but I did later the same day) as I had things already scheduled and I wanted to be there to ensure the unit would be properly cleaned. After sending those pics, I would have expected a follow up with a greater sense of urgency to rectify the situation. I scheduled a clean-up for the day before we were leaving, but I cancelled it because at that point, we only had one more night in our stay. I just asked for the cleaning crew to drop off a working remote and a roll of paper towels and finally the host decided to say that they wouldn't know what remote to give. The host then asked where the TV was located (even though I had already provided that information the day before when I didn't get any response) and then asked what type of TV. I answered the questions and per usual, no further response. We never received the paper towels and the host never followed up to ask if we had gotten them.
