Holiday home on an island in the Sognefjord, an Eldorado for boating, fishing and diving. Locatde by the sea with a quay, floating jetty, shoreline, boathouse and large plot. About 2 hours from Bergen. Holiday home with beautiful surroundings. On the ground floor, there is a hallway with stairs to the attic, bathroom/laundry room, kitchen and living room. From the terrace, there is a door leading to the hallway and stairs to the attic. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa group and dining table and direct access to the terrace. Well-equipped kitchen. On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 small rooms, each with a single bed. TV and internet via fiber with German and international channels. Heat pump and wood stove. Lovely, large terrace of 40 m2 with garden furniture and an annex for storing garden cushions and barbecue. In addition to fishing and other activities, the holiday home is perfect for relaxing in quiet surroundings and hikes in the beautiful coastal landscape. The area has rich wildlife with seabirds and eagles, por-poises, otters, and the occasional small whale. Great for mountain hikes and experiences, like in the mountain Veten at 194 m.a.s.l. or Tjørefjellet and Lifjellet. Lots of mountain lakes where you can fish (remember fishing license). Close by, you find Skjerjehamn with the statue of Olav and local culture such as an annual festival with an impressive line-up of artists. This is an idyllic place we highly recommend, an old trading post that was refurbished in 2007, and where you can enjoy dinner and locally brewed beer in lovely surround-ings. The village of Byrknes with grocery stores and services is approximately 6 km away. Bergen, with its attractions, shops and restaurants, is just 1.5 hours' drive away. 3 boats for rent, located at the floating jetty directly below the holiday house. Bench for fileting fish. The holiday home is located on an island and the boat trip takes 2 minutes (150 m crossing). Owner will be present on arrival. Free parking in a shared car park at the marina.
