About this house rental
Our unique and tranquil getaway is just 3.7 miles from downtown Rochester! We have beautiful views of the sunrise & sunset, overlook hundreds of acres of forest & valleys, includes garden, chickens & amazing landscape. A few highlights: pool, hot tub, grill, smoaker, outdoor dining, fire pit, hiking, wildlife, Foosball, air hockey, trampoline, playground, bball hoop, treefort & more!
We've been blessed with memories to last a lifetime and know you will at this secluded homestead, too.
The space
Hello! Welcome to my home! This place is so special to me, my grandpa actually built it! The family history runs deep, but I won't bore you with that. This is our full-time residency, so I hope you find it very loving. You will notice I have kids because 3 of the rooms are theirs & decorated for them. It's not new construction or fully updated, but its cozy character makes up for age! Although you'll only be minutes from downtown, shopping, dining & Mayo Clinic, you won't know it because of this hidden location on our acreage. My hope is for this to be a healing place for you, a place of peace, relaxation, joy, laughter, learning & fun!
The hot tub is open all year.
The pool is open June 1 - September 1 & not heated. It's above ground, so it warms up nicely. The garden goodies are available depending on season.
Fresh eggs vary by day & season.
NO SMOKING- you will be charged a fee!
NO OUTSIDE GUESTS- you will be charged a fee!
Guest access
You will have access to the driveway, pool, hot tub, garden, hiking, fresh eggs, towels, TP, full kitchen, etc.
The door code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number.
Laundry is available upon request only.

The check-in process was super easy! Our host was very accommodating. The kitchen was clean, well-stocked with basic utensils & appliances plus plenty of space was available for us to store the food & items we brought with us.
