We had a wonderful stay at Sophia and Simon’s place! Great for our New Years short stay as a big family of 8.The place was better than the photos— clean, tidy and everything we needed (the kitchen was well-equipped!). The location was great with the house just sitting on the front of the lake (we didn’t really figure out how to access the foreshore). Metung hot springs and metung golf course is just walking distance away (about a 10 minute walk). The neighbourhood is very pleasant and quiet. Though would be a little inconvenient if you were wanting to go grocery shopping - we didn’t seem to find a grocery store around Metung, the closest location would have to be a 25 minute drive up to lakes entrance. Restaurant wise, there are a few in Bancroft Bay - options are limited though.Sophia and Simon were great communicators, providing clear check-in instructions and very attentive to solve any problems we had.
