Stockbridge, a picturesque village in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is often described as quintessential small-town America. Known for its most famous resident, artist Norman Rockwell, the town welcomes you to walk down Main Street and step back in time. Stroll along and explore the boutique stores, art galleries, and specialty food shops. Venture just a little way from downtown to find lovely nature preserves, hiking paths and the beautiful Stockbridge Bowl Lake. 15 min to Great Barrington, 5 min drive to Lenox, 7 min drive to Lee, 3 ski mountains within 20-30 minutes. Centrally located in the heart of the Berkshires.
Guests may access the main home from the driveway, down a small set of stairs and up one step to the front door. The home itself has 2 small steps down to the living room space, and a large staircase in the back of the house down to the backyard. Guests may access the whole main cabin, as well as the wood fired hot tub outside, and back patio. The outside office space next to the hot tub will remain locked and is not for guest use.
This cozy home is located in Stockbridge, about a 5 minute walk to the Stockbridge Bowl (lake) town beach.
There is a dining area that seats 6, Primary Bedroom (Queen sized bed), Guest bedroom (Full sized bed), ladder to loft space (2 twin beds, best for kids). One full bathroom with stand alone tub and large rain head shower. Half bath with laundry. Updated kitchen with energy efficient induction appliances. Back porch, wood fired hot tub and outdoor eating area, and fire pit all for guest use.

Please try not to park cars on the street- at night it gets dark and can be hard for other cars to see.
The Berkshires has limited public transport and there is extremely limited ride shares/cabs. It is ideal that you would have your own vehicle transportation.
Please watch videos of indoor wood stove instructions and wood fired hot tub instructions before using. These will be sent a few days before your arrival.
Please be respectful of our neighbors… This is a very quiet lake neighborhood.
There are no streetlights so please keep in mind if you are arriving late to be aware of this. Also, please enter the neighborhood going up Indian Road. The house is located on a one way street. GPS is sometimes incorrect and may take you to the wrong entrance- Indian Road is the correct way to get to the house.
No parties or gatherings.
Absolutely no smoking marijuana or cigarettes inside or outside the property.
Do not leave food or trash outside, as we have bears and wildlife. All trash should be locked in the bins at the top of the driveway.
