Perfect for up to 4 guests, this lakeside retreat offers a private dock and a spacious outdoor deck with seating and dining areas, ideal for soaking in breathtaking sunsets and peaceful lake views. Whether you’re here for fishing, boating, or simply relaxing by the water, this cabin is the perfect escape.
Lakeview Outpost has a true rustic cabin feel, set right on the shores of Henrys Lake. Step outside onto the half wraparound deck, where you’ll find a fire pit and picnic-style seating perfect for outdoor meals or evenings by the water. The cabin is just steps from the docks, making it easy to enjoy fishing, boating, or simply strolling along the lakefront.
Inside, the front room offers a cozy spot to relax with rocking chairs facing the water—almost like an enclosed patio, but open enough to feel connected to the outdoors. This space also includes a small play area for children, making it a welcoming retreat for families.

The cabin is best reached by car, with parking available on-site. Roads are maintained year-round, but weather around Henrys Lake can be unpredictable in the fall, winter, and spring. For safe travel, we highly recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle during those seasons. The property is within easy driving distance of West Yellowstone, Idaho Falls, and Bozeman, with the West Yellowstone Airport just a short trip away.

The house and the view was amazing.House was very clean. 20 minutes drive from West Yellowstone entrance. I would definitely come back here.

Great place. It was well organized, clean and extremely comfortable and the view is terrific. The hosts know what they're doing here and they evidently care that their customers enjoy their stay. We'll go back !

The view was amazing! Disappointed the telescope didn’t work but binoculars were a plus. Plenty of kitchen supplies, coffee filters, sugar, spices. Beds were super comfy even if the bedding looked a bit worn. So nice sleeping with the windows open at night. Bathroom was small but adequate for 4 adults. Water got nice and hot. We wish we could have stayed a few more days to enjoy being at the cabin more! Would definetly stay again.
