About this house rental
Welcome to "Be Still" in the Village of Hatteras, the only golf cart town on the island. As you pull in you have one covered space and 4 additional spaces on driveway for parking.
Outdoor amenities include a fish cleaning station/sink as well as a large private shower to rinse off the sand from your adventures. There is a basketball court with three hoops available across the street at the Hatteras Civic Center. This area is paved and also fun for skateboards, roller blades and little ones learning to bike. Our neighborhood is quiet and offers sleepy cul-de-sacs where guests can leisurely bike. Guests can also bike/walk/jog the length of the village on the paved bike path that leads to groceries, restaurants, fresh seafood markets, THE coziest coffee shop and much more.
Accessing the house from the covered entryway, the first floor greets you with it's expansive game room including both a pool table and a air hockey table. This floor also has a spacious den with a Queen Sleeper Couch and a Roku TV. A twin over twin bunk room and a half bath are conveniently located on this floor.
Our second floor features soaring 10ft ceilings and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The main kitchen in the heart of the home has a gorgeous granite island with space and tools to prepare delicious meals after a day at the beach. Laundry, a full bath, and a bedroom with twin beds are off one end of the kitchen, and a private master suite w/full bath offering a place of quiet refuge is on the opposite end of the house. The 2nd den is also on this floor with a Roku TV, and it leads to our wrap around porch overlooking two ponds where waterfowl and wildlife abound. Sip your coffee or tea and let the stress melt away as you enjoy views of the ocean, sound and dune line. This covered porch completely encircles the 2nd story of the home and has Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, cornhole, and best of all a 6 person hot tub on the oceanside. The porch embodies southern hospitality and is always a guest favorite. Come sit awhile and just Be Still.
Our third floor offers views of the ocean from all rooms including the 3rd den, two bedrooms (queen and king) and the outdoor dining area. Be ready to watch the waves crash and the kite surfers sail through the calm waters of the sound. The open floor plan includes a small full kitchen, popcorn machine, and den with a 60" Roku TV. Both bedrooms have full attached baths!
No matter where you are in our house, you can't help but "Be Still" and enjoy the views, amenities, and most of all precious time in a most unique and relaxing village. Enjoy! We are so glad to be your host.

There was plenty of room for everyone. It was a plus that pets are welcomed. We enj I yed that it was close to the beach. We couldn't get to the house until a day later because of road closure but we still had a good time when we made it. We had a problem with lights going out but it was redolved as soon as it was possible.

Perfect family getaway! The location was ideal—close to everything we wanted to do. The host was super easy to work with and very responsive. The space was perfect for our family, comfortable and well-equipped. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this rental for a family vacation!

House is set up nicely and well equipped. Suggestions: Be sure dishes and cookware are clean. Billiard cues are very poor condition

Place was great, perfect location, setup well for a large family, and very well thought out. Sellers responded almost immediately to any questions we bad about the home or local things, we look forward to renting from them again!
