Charming 3-bedroom mid century modern house in peaceful setting

7/10 but could be 10/10Upon arrival the front door lock was not working, Melanie was responsive and able to provide us another way in. Once inside, we found the home clean which was our main concern and loved the modern decor. There were no snacks as listed, not necessarily an issue as we brought our own. I would just remove this from the listing so people aren't expecting them. Next morning when we woke, there was no extra toilet paper and the coffee maker was broken. Melanie again was responsive and said she would take care of it as well as the door lock. She also offered for us to get coffee in town and she would reimburse us, we had already gotten coffee so we didn't take her up on her offer but it was a nice gesture. When we got back the door lock wasn't fixed and it was determined it needed to be replaced, no big deal we could still get in. We found extra toilet paper as promised, however the coffee maker had been replaced with a hotel like coffee maker which only holds enough water for one cup and took about 5 min to brew. So, each morning we had to spend 20-25 min brewing enough coffee for the 3 of us. I would highly recommend getting a regular coffee maker that can brew in a timely fashion. The backyard table was not ready to be used during our stay as the table and cushions were dirty and there were broken branches on it, it was Mid-May so maybe it wasn't ready for Summer yet. Overall, we had a good stay but a few minor changes would make it a 10/10

Peaceful neighborhood very clean area, comfortable beds, large size, washer, and dryer.

Had a great stay with this rental. Everything you need. Nice home nice furnishings. Mel was great to communicate with! The garage a huge plus in the winter weather. Thank you Mel again for sharing your rental home with us!

This house looks as it is listed. It has the cutest decor. The bed is very comfortable. The host is extremely responsive. There are plenty of towels to go around. It is in a more rural area so it will take about 20 min or so to get any stores/restaurants. The neighborhood seems to be very quiet, however we did not spend much time at the property. I'm not so sure this is a pet free property as there was evidence of animals within the home. The house was not as clean as I would have preferred upon arrival. We did not complain because our itinerary kept us out early and in late. But we did contact the host and she was extremely responsive and acknowledging of our concerns. This property provides enough space for large families, so returning is an option for us.
