Casa De Pyramids

It was the worst decision to book this hotel for my stay in Giza. It is a very deceptive hotel. It is really not walking distance from the pyramids, but as they have claimed on the website. They will try to overcharge you at the time of payment, so we aware and look at the amount they feed on the machine before you make the payment they try to do that with me. They plugged in 9000 EGP on their card machine. Where is my bill was 7700 EGP. There was no water in the washroom for half a day. I paid extra to get a room with bathtub and pyramid view. Yet they gave me a standard category room, which had neither I even showed them my booking and the pictures of the room that were shown on my booking but they still did not agree to giving me my correct category of room. Additionally, the landline phone was also not connected to its wiring in my room and upon many request to have it fixed, nobody came to fix it. However, the rooms were clean. One or two staff members were polite, but other than that I feel like they are a hoax.

La habitación estaba bien, pero en una de las noches la luz del baño no funcionaba, llamamos a la recepción y nunca contestaron, creo que es una nueva empresa o familia la que lo administra, por que no tienen un menú de comidas como tal en el restaurante, un día nos cobraron 400 por un plato bbq y cada cocacola a 150 y al otro día ese plato nos lo querían cobrar a 480 y cada cocacola a 125, creo que no les han enseñado a los trabajadores sobre el servicio, son muy jovenes y no saben atender a las personas, solo uno se le notaba la actitud de servicio, el segundo día que pedimos comida se demoro como 2 horas en llegar a la habitación y no había gente en el restaurante, subimos dos veces y nos decían 5 minutos, luego de mas de 1 hora llego la comida y la presentación no era la misma del día anterior, el edificio por fuera y el barrio no son para nada agradables, al lado hay como un criadero o matadero de animales, el ruido de los carros es constante ya que queda en al lado de un puente, para llegar en carro hay que meterse por otras cuadras ya que no especifican bien como llegar, y como todo en Egipto, quieren venderte todo mas caro hasta 10 veces más de su precio real, creen que deben mejorar en eso, en actitud de servicio, en comida y en tener palabra en que si dicen 100 es 100, no 150 o 200 y casi a la fuerza para que les des más dinero.
