Starter Kit: To help you settle in comfortably, each Sandbar Beach Rentals property is stocked with a starter set of basic essentials. This includes items such as hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and trash bags.
These supplies are intended to get you started upon arrival. For extended stays or additional needs, we recommend planning to purchase extra items during your visit.
-HEATED POOL: The pool heater is available Nov1-March1 and is considered an add-on amenity, so please let use know before your arrival if you would like to have the pool heater for your stay. It is an additional $25/day to keep the pool heated.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS POOL WILL NOT GET AS HOT AS A HOT TUB.
THIS POOL IS HEATED BY A HEAT PUMP. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE IS ABOUT 80-85 DEGREES, BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE. IT WILL ONLY GET TO ~20 DEGREES HIGHER THAN THE OUSIDE TEMPERATURE.
-Parking is tight. There is room to park a maximum of 3 vehicles (including a golf cart) We do not have room for RVs, boats, or trailers.
-BUGS: We have a pest control company that comes to the property once a month. Unfortunately,
because of the climate, roaches loves Port A and if you find one, please let us know immediately
and we will have the pest control company come back out to spot treat.
-Please note: This is a new subdivision and there is ongoing construction.

The first impression was poor. I never heard from the management company for check in information. After waiting outside the house for 10 minutes, I called the 24 hour number and was finally able to get the code for access. Overall the house was okay, very clean, just bare minimum of kitchen and bathroom essentials. Due to the rainy weather on our first full day, we were stuck inside with zero entertainment. The power was out (not the fault of the management), there were no games or anything in the home to pass time. Overall we enjoyed our time in Port Aransas; just no added value to the home we selected. We will definitely return to the community, just select a different home.
