Everything in this property was fabulous. So spacious and lovely decor. Wonderfull touches.

Stairs to the room a bit tuff. Not recommended for people with mobility issues. Only thing I would recommend is better pillows on the beds.

Night light on bathroom steps didn’t work on one of the bathrooms. Towel loop on bathroom wall would have been convenient in one of the bathrooms.

Great location

The unit is in an 1871 building that retains its historic character, so it is perfect for those who come to Savannah for the history. The bedrooms with ensuite baths are at opposite ends of the living room, which provides nice privacy. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is close to Forsyth Park and the Georgia Historical Society. Several squares and museums are nearby. The Crystal Beer Parlor is an easy walk away for good food and brew.

The step-up floors for the bathrooms were necessary for the historic building, but the doors should be easier to close. An additional handle above the knob would have been helpful. Step stools for the high beds would also have been helpful. There is a table that can be folded out for quick eats, but the unit is not well designed for a two couples who want to sit down to eat full meals together. The location is great for avid walkers who love the park, cemetery, and squares; but it would not be the best for those who want quick access to the lively shops, clubs, and restaurants on River and Bay Streets.
