This is not a hotel. It is not a resort. It is not a place designed to impress through luxury or scale. It is something far rarer. This location is a hidden gem! It is a home with a history, a soul, and a heartbeat. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that this beautiful villa is much more than a historic building. Its elegance, its atmosphere, its carefully preserved character, and the breathtaking surroundings create a setting that feels almost suspended in time. Yet what truly gives life to this place are the people behind it. Chiara and Maria Luiza do not simply host guests. They welcome people into a story that began long before any of us arrived and that will continue long after we leave. In a world increasingly dominated by automation, standardization, and impersonal experiences, they offer something wonderfully human: genuine warmth, authentic conversations, sincere care, and the feeling that your presence matters. As guests, we often remember destinations. But the experiences that stay with us forever are usually connected to people. A sunset fades. A journey ends. Photographs remain in an album. But kindness becomes a memory. What touched me most was the feeling that every detail of this place reflects love: love for history, love for beauty, love for welcoming others, and love for sharing a small piece of one's world with strangers who arrive and leave as richer people. Many reviews can describe the rooms, the view, the breakfast, or the location. What is harder to describe is the feeling of peace that accompanies you throughout your stay, or the rare sense of being welcomed not as a customer, but as a guest. For that, I am deeply grateful. Thank you, Chiara and Maria Luiza, for preserving not only a beautiful historic villa, but also a way of receiving people that seems increasingly rare in today's world. Some places deserve five stars and you definitely deserve 100 stars. Some people deserve much more than that.

Ci sono posti belli e poi ci sono posti che ti fanno sentire a casa. Questo è uno di quelli. Una meravigliosa villa d’epoca immersa nel verde, a due passi dal mare, dove il tempo sembra rallentare. Ciò che rende davvero speciale questo luogo sono Chiara e sua madre: gentili, premurose, disponibili e autenticamente accoglienti. Ci hanno fatto sentire coccolate per tutto il soggiorno, con quella spontaneità che non si può fingere.

Our stay at Villa Santa Maria al Poggio was truly memorable. The villa itself is breathtaking — a beautifully preserved historic property surrounded by an incredible garden. The lady hosting us was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The views, the atmosphere, and the care put into every detail really set this place apart. I would recommend it to absolutely everyone looking for something special in the Marche region. We will definitely be back!
