Deerstone Glamping- Pendle Hill dome

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! It’s just beautiful. Every last little detail is so thought out! Down from the layout of each pod, all the way down to the fact the shower curtains have little magnets on them and clip to the wall! We had incredible views and wonderful sunsets all week. We were even lucky enough that we were on the end pod, right next to where all the rabbits would come out and greet us every day. Our little sausage dog had the BEST time too and we’re all coming back here again soon and will be one of our regular family holidays now. We didn’t want to leave! There was a little misunderstanding with our booking when we first arrived, (due to another company we booked through), but this was dealt with straight away and Karin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was 100% perfect! We never would have known there was even an issue! She even let us have their cinema dome for free as a way of saying sorry. Which, May I say! Is better than any cinema room I’ve ever seen! You need to experience it to understand! Everything about this place is cosy, calm, peaceful and so perfectly thought out. We had a BBQ one night together and we even saw someone order a takeaway to their own pod! Delivered straight to their door. Karin and Rose are the most beautiful people too, so friendly and kind and welcoming. I cannot fault a thing! We would just sit in bed every morning, soaking up the view, the wildlife and nature. Every evening we enjoyed a lovely sunset. I didn’t want to leave!! All the places near to here are so picturesque and enjoyable to walk around too. They’ve now got two, (three with the sausage), full time customers <3 I would whole heartedly recommend Deerstone Glamping 🥰

Comfy beds and great views. Clean bathrooms and nice to have an ice machine in the kitchen.

My booking dates were moved by the host by accident but it took several phone calls and help from Booking to get it sorted. Plastic plates and chipped metal mugs didn’t match the rest of the ‘glamping’ There were 4 of us but only 2 plastic tumblers but no wine glasses. A washing up bowl, dish cloth and t-towel in the ‘pod’ would be good to carry the dishes to the communal washing up facilities. These facilities felt a bit dirty and the drying cloths were wet and the sponges were dirty and these weren’t changed during our 2 night visit. The plugs were almost impossible to access as they were behind the bed and we needed to unplug the lights to charge our phones.
