Quiet area of house and good conditions as well as good quality of living. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach 1A! Die Unterkunft war sehr entspannend, die Lage hervorragend und perfekt, um dem Trubel etwas zu entfliehen. Mit dem Auto waren wir zudem flexibel unterwegs, was für uns ein großer Pluspunkt war. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber – sie waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns bei allem bestens unterstützt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und konnten die Zeit in vollen Zügen genießen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Die Villa Ampeli ist hervorragend! Sie liegt abseits der Hauptstraße und allgemein sehr zentral um die Insel zu erkunden. Bis zum Meer sind es nur wenige Hundertmeter. Die Villa ist komplett ausgestattet (Backofen, Herd, Waschmaschine, Föhn, Geschirr, Handtücher, WLAN, Wäscheständer, Klammern..) Der Kontakt zum Vermieter Manolis lief über WhatsApp und war perfekt. Er spricht unteranderem deutsch und englisch. Er ist jederzeit erreichbar und gibt Tipps und Tricks für die Region. Bei unser Ankunft erwartet uns ein Willkommensgruß mit Essen und Trinken. Der Pool wird aller 3 bis 4 Tage gereinigt und ist ausreichend groß. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. An jedem Fenster waren Jalousien und Fliegengitter verankert. Die Villa ist mit 3 weiteren Villen auf dem Grundstück. 2 sind noch vollkommen im Bau (Während unseres Aufenthalt wurde nicht gebaut). Wir haben von unseren Nachbarn jedoch nichts mitbekommen. Duschvorhang, Matratzen - alles neu.

Es gibt eigentlich keine Punkte, die uns nicht gefallen haben. Wir wussten bereits vorher durch Rezensionen, dass es mittlerweile mehrere Villen auf dem Grundstück gibt und man nicht vollkommen alleine ist. Aber es ist für andere bestimmt schön es in der Beschreibung lesen zu können. Für mehr als 2 Personen wäre ein Geschirrspüler bestimmt angenehmer.

Ampeli Villa is a lovely, well appointed detached home with a private pool. The host, Manolis, was there to greet us on arrival and show us around the house and grounds. It has everything needed to make a very relaxed and quiet holiday. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and Manolis provided a very lovely welcome pack with everything essential to get our stay off to a great start. Although we were outside most of the time the lounge was perfect for relaxing in. The bedrooms are very comfortable with extra bedding if you should need it. There are plenty of towels for both the bathroom and the pool. Outside, the garden furniture is plentiful on the shaded verandah with very comfortable sun-lounger cushions by the pool. There is a large BBQ which was easy to use. The property is fully enclosed behind remotely operated locked gates. (We did have a problem with the remote not working one day but a quick call to Manolis meant the owner was there within 10 minutes to sort the problem out which was caused by a power cut due to a heavy thunderstorm). There is plenty of parking which is shared by the other, similar, neighbouring properties. There is plenty of space between the houses so there is no disturbance. You are surrounded by fields of olive trees and the odd visit from free-range goats which can't access the garden as it is well fenced. The beach is 15 minutes away on foot or 3 minutes by car. It is stunning! The villa is very central to lots of places to visit although I would recommend a hire car as it is slightly isolated.

When we first wanted to use the BBQ there wasn't a shelf to place the grill basket over the charcoal but the owner sorted this out straight away for us and we used it a lot. Our weather wasn't perfect and so the solar powered hot water ran out a couple of times but nothing to worry about!
