The staff was very friendly and kind, and not knowing English wasn’t a problem at all. The room is spacious, especially the bathroom, which is roomy and pleasant. The property offers well-organized and secure on-site parking free of charge. The breakfast is very good, varied, nicely presented, and includes everything you would expect. The location is excellent! Very close to the interesting sites in the area and ideal as a base for a day-trip style visit.

There are many steep stairs to the second floor. This is not a complaint, as we were aware there was no elevator and we have no issue with that. The room doesn’t have regular windows, only skylights – when the window is closed, no natural light enters the room at all. The room was advertised as having a mountain view – however, there is no view at all, except through the narrow gap in the skylight window, and only if you’re tall enough to look through it. In my opinion and based on my experience, the place is priced too high – but again, there’s no complaint because we agreed to it upfront!
